Loop walk from Wooler via Humbleton
return on St Cuthberts Way via Gains Law

Starting from Wooler, head out of the town to pick up the footpath just past the caravan park, walk over the field and join the track to Humbleton

Turn left after the village to the bottom of Humbleton Hill, there’s an information plaque here detailing the exploits of Harry Hotspur.

Walk through the gate and follwo the track around Humbleton Hill, down into a small valley and then up over the side of Harehope Hill until you reach Gleadscleugh

Theres a steep climb up a gravelly track the moors on the top.  Turn left at the wall, felled trees and join the St Cuthberts Way over the top of Gains Law.

Follow this route all the way back to Wooler
