The section of coast from Howick Seahouses Farm to Dunstanburgh has to be one of the most dramatic sections of coastline in Northumberland. Walking north along the bay of Cullernose Point you can see the various strata of rock that has just been crushed and folded to form the cliffs and the outcrops below. Fulmers, guillimots and razorbills nest along the cliff face in the spring and there is always a chance of spotting some seals or even dolpings in the sea below.. Round the corner and you can see the picturesque fishing village of Craster in the distance, with the remains of Dunstanburgh Castle in the far distance. A visit into Dunstanburgh Castle is included within the package, we’ll also stop here for lunch (bring packed lunch).
