Born & bred in Alnwick, Northumberland, Ian spent much of his early working life away from the area whilst in the Army, returning in 1992 to finally settle.

A passionate walker, keen cyclist, reluctant runner and petrified sailor, Ian’s greatest joy is in showing off what Northumberland and the surrounding counties have to offer to the visitor.

Ex RAF Engineer, private pilot, RNLI crewman and local history buff, Ken’s passion for the area is every bit as strong as any on the team.

His knowledge of the history of the region, dating back to before Roman times will challenge any hardened historian.

Ken’s anecdotal stories along the route makes time pass in the blink of an eye!

Growing up in the Coquet Valley and working in the North East for over 40 years, he is no stranger to the wonders of the North.

A keen walker with a distinctive Northumbrian dialect, he will be sure to have you hooked as he tells you about our glorious counties and all they have to offer.

Ceri is based in the Lake District, living close to Ullswater. Married to James, they are both members of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team.

Spending time out in the hills both walking and cycling makes her smile a lot and she loves sharing the local views with those new to the area. Every walk and every day has something for us all to see and discover!
